he is a cool customer in the pocket, I just rewatched the game for a second time, he is "Joe Montana like" in the pocket. In my opinion I think Carr has a better arm but he looks like a deer in the head lights, when the rush is coming.
I am not sold on Goff's deep ball or the way he stares at the receiver he is going to throw to, I don't know if it is a predetermined read or what but he is constantly staring at the person he is throwing to.
What I like about this offense this year as opposed to last is there are more designed plays going to playmakers (Cooks/Woods)..
All that being said, Goff is progressing nicely and the preseason proved that the Rams QB is not a plug and play, I believe we will go as far as Goff takes us.
