For over what feels like 50 years (to me) was the worry and dread of another year of like 3 to 7 wins....last place in the division....top pick in the draft (or near it).
We finally get out from under that wet rug and we (fans) just seem to need to worry/fret about a new issue.
IMO really....we won the division....we are the reigning champs. I look at the rest of our division....really there is no threat (maybe just ingrained worry) about some other team, but in my book I see no one close to us. We made some moves in the off-season that no one would ever dream of doing ( our fans or other fans of other teams).
We have IMO one of if not the best coaching staff in the league.....if we have a real issue with our backup QB....you gotta feel that the staff starting with Coach sees it as a thing to deal with.....(and for all I know they are doing just that).
It seems all the time that fans who want to replace someone always (or mostly) try to get a name guy to take that spot....just look at history, our history specifically....we had a guy called Warner as a potential backup and when Trent went down a lot of people said we are in deep @#$%&.....
Point being....just enjoy what is happening...don't worry about what bad things lurk...man it looks like some of us just like or are used to looking for the worst.......or at the least worrying about it.
We really do have a football staff....they are in tune to the hilt....so are the players....which proves the ability of the staff....I say just relax....Mannion screws up he will play himself out of the spot.....He improves he stays.....The QB position may well be the most important position on the field....but the coaching staff is the pulse and life of the team.....as the staff gets players and develops those said players is really the way the teams direction goes, and as I said our staff is A1 in my book.
