If I had never before seen football as we know it. Its a great game and one that's easily watched. The play calling would likely be even more creative-like when we played it on the playground. Why not watch it ? The problem is we are spoiled because of our appetites for a more violent form of the game- never to go back. In that light the question can't be taken seriously unless one shifts the facts to -assuming you have never seen or heard of professional football...? Given that assumption Its likely the answers here would be different. Sometimes I pull off to the side in my car and watch a good game of touch football.
RFIP's question was "would you watch NFL if it went to flag football." That was the question, period. Your premise is a different question so saying the OP's question can't be taken seriously is wrong, IMO. Yours is different than his and both can be taken seriously.
To RFIP's question, my answer is NO, I would not, because I have been watching the NFL for years and I would have no interest in that huge change to the game. To your question, my answer would be YES, because in that scenario I wouldn't have seen NFL football so I wouldn't know of the difference.
