I see almost EVERY face in that picture focused ON THE GAME! What I don't see?? Fans drooling into their phones........Involved in a fight.....Paying attention to said fight in next section.......Looking at the distraction being played on the mile wide jumbotron. Back in those days, it was about THE GAME. The Coliseum was just as cavernous then as now. It was affordable. Fire and explosions were not needed to get fans excited when players ran onto the field. There were no $$$$$$$$ Luxury suites with AC. The scoreboard was freaking painted numbers on boards or light bulbs. It was simple, simply priced and OBVIOUSLY a blast.......Hence 100,000 per game. And EXACTLY why I long for the old school days at games in old school stadiums. I want to see a FOOTBALL GAME and not a %^%%& dog n pony / CIRCUS!!!!
