When you go back and watch these players, they initiate ALL CONTACT with their helmets.
IMHO.......I am all for player safety.
Helmet to helmet contact is going to happen. If a player makes a picture perfect tackle, then his helmet will come in contact with another players helmet. It's inevitable. To me, all those tackles on this video were solid, safe and form it up football tackles.
Now, kill shots, ear hole shots, catapulting yourself head first into a pile, top of helmet drilling another player on purpose, then by all means throw a flag and make it a penalty.
By the way..........What is the penalty......15 yards and an automatic first down? Is offending player ejected?
