I’m not even going to try to complete the list… you do it.
1. The best helmets in the NFL
2. The greatest single season turn-around of all time.
3. The bragging right of playing thru injury title (Jack Youngblood)
4. Most Safeties by one player in one quarter (most likely never tied, much less beaten) Dryer
5. Norm’s single game passing record. What now? 67 years?
Ok, have fun. - JamesJM
The NFL team record for safeties in a game is three, which all occurred in the third quarter of play by the Los Angeles Rams against the New York Giants on September 30, 1984. The individual record is two, by the Rams' Fred Dryer against the Green Bay Packers on October 21, 1973.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
