I'd trade for McCarron if possible. Peterman started out well in the first preseason game for them. Maybe we can snag McCarron if Peterman improves?
Stock Up:
QB Nathan Peterman
Nate Peterman came into the 2018 season with something to prove. He worked extensively on his throwing mechanics in the offseason with “arm specialist” Dr. Tom House. House has worked with legends such as Tom Brady and Drew Brees.
Aside from physical adjustments, House’s pedigree could have easily helped Peterman’s confidence after a historically bad game in 2017 against the Los Angeles Chargers in which Peterman threw five interceptions in the first half.
Bills still confident in Nathan Peterman
What gave me an optimistic outlook in tonight’s affair with the Panthers was Peterman’s confidence throwing the ball. You would expect a man who struggled mightily in 2017 to be shaken or hesitant throwing the ball but if Peterman was afraid, you couldn’t tell. The Bills apparently felt that confidence as they gave Peterman the nod over veteran AJ McCarron, a surprising move not many thought was coming.
The second-year quarterback finished 9-for-10 for 119 yards and a touchdown for the Bills Thursday night. He had one lone interception come off of the hands of running back Chris Ivory on a ball that was thrown behind him.
