That's exactly right.
An ACL that used to serve a guy at 220lbs, if the same one that now has to serve a guy who is 280 lbs or even 350 for some Olinemen.
Plus these guys are hitting faster than they ever did so there is way more force.
Go and stand on the sideline and watch these guys hit at speed up close and it's insanely violent.
Soft? Pfft.
