Sooner or later you have to play the game. It's just the nature of the beast.
If you're going to get hurt playing a handful of PS snaps how are you going to make through the regular season?
Players are so soft now a day it's sickening.
It's a systemic problem ..... these guys come back from summer break, have two weeks to get ready while playing two hand touch all week in training camp.
You pay too much money to the stars these days to risk losing them in these meaningless games.
Of course the Starters will get some playing time in the last two preseason games, but I'd have no problem if they play very few snaps next week
