Yeah, this defense is still, even with adding Suh, largely built for speed, not power. Which is fine. Wade wants pressure and turnovers.
I do think interior pressure will push some QBs into the arms of the OLBs. If Ebukam and Longacre can play 700 snaps each they could combine for 13-14 sacks, which is what Quinn and Barwin produced last year. To me the question is can they get another situational edge rusher like Okoronkwo or Lawler to contribute? Fox was probably going to be that guy. They really got next no pass rush from the NT spot so Suh getting 5-6 sacks and consistent pressure would be a big boost.
Rams just need to get out of the bottom 3-5 in run defense (4.6 YPC) and more in the range of 4.2 and they're fine.
