I agree. You have Donald who will be signed within weeks (or I would be shocked...). So then they have Joyner, Saffold, Brown and Havenstein all TBD. 1 or 2 may earn new deals. I personally do not think they ever intend to keep Suh more than one year. Of the 2nd tier FAs right now Longacre is the only intriguing one to me. But again TBD.
What they have in signing Cooks and Donald is less pressure in 2019, more flexibility (perhaps even to extend Peters if it looks right), and still a good amount of cap room. Possibly $10.75M more should Whitworth retire after this year.
They will net two 3rd round comp picks in 2019 and should say Suh and Joyner leave likely two 3rds in 2020 as well. They are doing well as they approach a trickier year in 2020.
