The fake pretense of student athletes. The using of low paid workers (the players) to enrich the pockets of sponsors, alumni, networks, and coaching staffs.
Is it any wonder these guys come to the NFL and want to get paid. Every think they were taught the cynical - it's all about money attitude from a young age?
I'll take the semi-transparent NFL model of mercenary players any day. At lest they're up front about it.
Even with the college 'playoffs' the whole championship is a joke. The field is not level. There are a handful of teams every year who are just more talented than anyone they play. And why so many superstars from successful programs go bust at the nfl level. It's easy for Jameis Winston to rip off a bunch of wins at Florida state. How many times was he challenged on game day? Now he's just another mediocre NFL quarterback who's likely going to be a clipboard holder for the next phase of his career.
