Yeah doubtful he would just walk but in a way that's semantics....dz is just saying this Rams front office has tended not to come through on top contracts so far. They let Jenkins walk because they lowballed him, he took another offer (the difference was 25% more). and they only had one tag which they used on Tru. But if they don't sign AD and try to tag him, he can simply stay out and demand a trade. People had a hard time coming up with examples of top players who demanded to be traded who DIDN'T get traded. It's hard for teams to get nothing for a guy while he sits out. Especially since in the Rams case, if they tag him, he still counts against the cap even if he doesn't take the money.

If I had a nickle for every time you typed the word "lowball" I could retire. lol The Rams have over paid players in the past TA and Ogletree are examples so IMO it's unfair to try and label them as a "lowball" team. This might have been triue back when Ziggy was here but not now IMO. Have they let players walk without over paying? Sure. Janoris "Dead Body in my house" Jenkins could have been offered more but Tru was playing well at the time too. Tough decision but I wouldn't say they "lowballed" him.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
