Well, you know what you know. But much of what you say remains opinion, just like everyone else here..
Blue bit. Granted. In fact that's always granted, for all o f us.
HOWEVER. I think you misread.
Red bit. All I said was I know the quote in question, where Fisher talked about experienced head coaches/coordinators not wanting the job because they didn't want to deal with the move. That was it on what I meant by this:
YOU: Go back and check his comments ME: I don't have to look, I know this stuff. "This stuff" in that sentence just refers to his comments about the move and hiring. That's all it was.
BTW, he said he contacted experienced head coaches and coordinators. That's guys who were either unemployed at that time or who were position coaches at that time, in other words older guys who had been fired (like Wade was as a head coach). Because, you can't hire a working head coach or coordinator as your coordinator. That's one reason I balk at the word "top." Are ex-coordinators or ex-head coaches now out of work or working as position coaches usually considered "top hires"? He wanted experience, sounds like.
But then he did hire Groh who is now Philadelphia's coordinator. So there's that.
