it would be interesting if Fisher ever explained what in the world was he thinking to put together such a bland offense in the current age of football.
It is just stunning what kind of approach he had towards offense.

Well it worked in Seattle. Bland offense, bland defense. But they had Russell Wilson and the Beast on offense, and they had a historically talented Defense. Players. Ya know.
I aint sayin Fisher is or was a great coach. But he might very well have been as good as half the coaches coaching today. I dunno.
Put Fisher on those great Seattle teams and do they win it all? I dunno. Maybe.
Guess it dont matter anymore.

Fisher had a lot of the personnel too. We know that because they are now winning with those players.
What if Fisher had Wilson and he missed two seasons injuring the same knee. With Wilson all the Rams OL injuries would not have mattered as much because Seattle faces a lot of the same issues. But with Davis, Foles, Hill, Clemens etc with those injured OLs it's the same thing as it was. In fact arguably going 7-9 is something of an achievement under those conditions. Completely ignoring the effect of multiple injuries on offensive production is one of the great traditions of football posting.
In terms of high-powered offense? I agree with "enh." Last year the Vikes made it into the playoffs with an offense that was 21st in passing attempts and 2nd in running attempts in spite of being 23rd in yards per carry.
