Nice, Craig
One starts to add up what they have for depth, and what could occur.
Notebloom, a four time all american academic, has the ability to learn the way Kromer wants the job done
It would be a longer shot, but we all expect the entire depth of the offensive line to get a lot of work this summer.
Of the retooled OL, in this situation, the young kid from TCU, does have credible tools to make a punch at getting on the field as a stop gap 2 game starter.
Former DE, former hockey player, and over 50 games as player for the Horned Frogs.
On top of that, he has 40 starts. That's a superb stat. And TCU did play some solid teams. Sooners, Stanford, OK St, Iowa St, Baylor.......
It's probably still a stretch to think the mid rounder is under the lights and on the grass come Monday night in Northern Cal for the Raiders, but I won't utterly dismiss either.
I'm curious to see just how they move Joe around now during camp and preseason games. Just as you say. Move Hav inside to guard (remember they didn't know whether it was going to be Brown or Hav on the right side?) and play Joe on the edge. Not a stretch in any way to see that set up at some point. It might now exactly be Hav inside, but no doubt:
Competition for a 2 game starters spot is officially on !!!
