RockRam
Of course the Rams covet AD. So do I. But not for any amount of money he chooses at the time he chooses.
The NFL is the ultimate team sport. You need the other 52 guys and you can't auction them off simply to satisfy one player.
Calling refusing to play while not being paid "leverage" is a misuse of the word. It is basically only a way to express not being happy. The Rams have complete control over who AD plays for, for this next and the next 2. Period. No matter how unhappy he is. No matter if he holds out or not. The reality is that at some point he'll never recoup the money he will have left sitting on the table. .
But...but...but...if the Rams tag him and let him sit out...that would would make the Rams look bad to other players and nobody would want to play for them Rams ever again! The Rams would have to fold and drop out of the NFL.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
