do you ignore the advice?
My thoughts are that there are just too many unknowns, especially to make many sweeping conclusions about character or several issues...
Donald only held out one game last season. Some thought his agent would have pushed for something like 6 games. Did Donald put his foot down? Would he ignore the advice? Would he want to come to camp? He seems to be fine working on his own.
If it were me, I'd probably wait until about a week or so before the season to sign so I didn't do any pre-season games.
That said I would be surprised if his agent isn't looking for an unprecedented deal. This is great advertising for his business. He will get higher profile clients. And it will attract players who care most about money... and will listen to France's advice.
The thing I m having an issue with is Demoff saying they are "close" number-wise and then saying prepared to make him "among" the highest paid defensive players. So those two statements are a bit intriguing. At the same time Demoff really can't say too much in the media, so giant grain of salt there, IMO
Anyway, I don't think it changes that probability that this doesn't get done until we near the season and perhaps into it. So if folks are up in arms now, lol, wait until a few days before game one.
Yeah, that's a huge grain of salt.... Demoff and Rams are smart and have shown class throughout this negotiation so far ...Demoff coming out and saying "we offered to make him the highest paid defender in the league" kinda puts AD on blast and would make AD out to be the bad guy. That's not their MO
