I simply mentioned that once Brockers left the game how much did AD step up and dominate like the greatest defensive tackle ever
I don't recall any one ever saying Donald was :"the greatest defensive tackle ever" and I doubt any one credible WOULD say that.
And to address my point, you would have to account for this. Because AD dominated the pass in the first half, they came out running in the second half, mostly to Brockers's vacated side. Not sure how AD is supposed to make up for the loss of Brockers when the offense is running AWAY from him.
"Didn't elevate his supporting cast." Oh man, that's not a criteria I would apply to any defensive player ever when injuries allow an offense an advantage. I don't think it makes simple basic football sense, frankly. How can AD get Brockers's sub to play better when they are running away from him?
And again, if you're arguing with the idea that AD is supposed to be "the greatest DT ever," please quote me anyone who ever said that. It's not a real claim. He's among a short list of true elite DTs. That's not "greatest ever" and he can't be held to a non-existent standard which says that if you lose your starting DE, by the magic in him, AD is supposed to just "elevate" the guy's replacement...somehow.
Sorry you lost me.
