If Donald approaches a situation where the Rams would tag him for 2 years---and the tag is a lowball compared to his market worth--then he can just refuse to sign and demand a trade.
I can't see a situation where the Rams would just sit on his rights for 2 years like that. Especially a player of Donald's status, which is up there with guys like Watt and in the past, guys like Sapp and Reggie White.
Plus personally I don't think the Rams would let it go that direction.

You seem to take this too personal...it's a business, it's not personal.
No player is above the law or the CBA.....if a player doesn't want to sign the offer that is made to them, the team can and will use the franchise tag. It's as simple as that.
I don't think the Rams want to go that route, but if this agent is asking for more money then the Rams are willing to give and just won't budge, then all bets are off.
He can demand a trade all he wants, but the Rams hold all the cards in this poker game for the next three years...that's not really disputable at this point.
