Goff didnt get him the ball..instead he preferred forcing throws to Kupp regardless of coverage. Sammy blocked like his hair was on fire and was open on plenty of routes which Goff either missed or ignored.
Come on man. He said himself that he didn't get the play book.
There is a reason why Goff felt more comfortable with almost everyone else.
There is a reason why McVay called almost everyone else's number but his.
It's clear that nobody that mattered trusted the should be number one receiver. We saw him not put in the work in his routes on the field but it's the behind the scenes stuff that is more obvious. He obviously never gelled off the field or else the important people would feel comfortable with him over less talented targets.
He said this after like week 4. Right?
