In the cases of Longacre and Ebukam both played quite a bit last year. You are asking each to play probably 12-15 more snaps per game. But Littleton really played very little in base defense a year ago. They also have Wilson and Kiser and I expect both of them to get snaps inside too. So I doubt they expect Littleton to get 50 snaps per game or anything.

Looking at the 1 real regular season games Littleton started (not counting the final SF game). In that one game (Titans) he had 68 defensive snaps. (They held Tenn. to 97 yards rushing on 26 attempts for 3.7 YPA which isn't bad and better than Tenn's normal 4,1 yards per attempt), In that game CL had 3 tkls, 4 assists, 1 INT, and 1 sack. Not a bad day. Pretty promising.

I think they intend to leave in the starting ILB without rotation.
