Rams played hard in this game but made too many mistakes
The biggest mistake with about 4 minutes left in the 1st half the Rams have an opportunity to go up 14-7 on the Vikes. They have driven the ball thenlenght of the field surviving a couple of drips from Higbee, Big hits take by Goff, and a very loud crowd. Anyhow last in the drive Goff scrambles nearing getting a 1st down. On 3rd and Goff hits Kupp with a strike getting the first down. As Kupp is heading for the end zone. Just before getting to the goaline Kupp is hit hard and fumbles. Great play by there Vikes but a ball Kupp needs to hold onto.
After that series and into the second half the Vikes eventually took over and our young Rams weren’t up to the task. This Rams team has to be able to win games like this one. I’m betting they will with a more seasoned Goff and offense and a defense that should be ferocious. A game last year that evolved into a 24-7 game might be more like 17-14 Rams
