Do you-and others here-catch the irony. You are framing this as a "debate" and trying to prove I'm "wrong". Yet I'm not trying to prove you or anyone else is "wrong". It's like an atheist saying to a believer "show me proof of a god" and the believer saying "I look at trees and flowers and I see god". Then the atheist says but those grew from the ground and the believer says---(on and on and on). Simply put, there can be no debate on the existence of a god. More akin here, is the "curse " of the Bambino. If you know baseball you know that even today many Red Sox fans genuinely believe that Boston's World Series drought from 1914 to 2004 was directly related to the sale of Babe Ruth to the Yankees. But you won't fine the "curse" believers arguing with a disputer who simply lays out the facts that the Red Sox had inferior players and management. They know a so called "debate" can't be won. But they still believe in the "curse" of the Bambino.
Every person has their belief system. I'm fine with yours-but ironically you are not with mine. I do believe in Karma but its more of a spiritual thing than a factual one. You can call me nutso-my wife does-just don't attack me because I'm most certainly not attacking you. Your belief system is perfectly appropriate precisely because it's yours.
To be clear, I have a deep respect for all views. I too believe in karma and I live my life accordingly. I am an open minded man and love discussing the philosophical side. In order to do so I try to get the base of the discussion.
There are a couple things in your initial post that i disagree with but things are often missunderstood. That's why we should engage, discuss, debate before claiming someone or something right or wrong.
I appreciate the dialogue.
