There isn't any shred of proof that says steroids have these kinds of side effects. Any claims reported are simple "test groups" with an agenda. Anyone can put together tests and make something good or bad.
What has been proven, however, is that they will accentuate your own natural positives or negatives. If you are an angry person they will make you more angry. If you are jovial is will make you so. If you have mental disorders....look out. THAT is why it is demonized. We cannot control wackos from being super wackos. We cannot prevent people from abusing them like they would abuse alcohol or other drugs.If you abuse anything there are negatives. If you do things with professional supervision there are benefits.
I approve of the demonizing of steroids, but only because I believe that it's better to try to control rather than fix. Same reason why I approve of limiting booze or pills. Fix peoples stupidity before it starts.
