That makes absolutely zero sense.
Goff was in his first year in a real offense and thrived...not too many 2nd year QB's can put up the type of stats and ratings he did while learning a new offense.
Polian was on Sirius the other day and was amazed at what Goff did in his first year in that offense....said you don't see that happen that often.
Goff will continue to improve in this offense with this coach...he's just getting started imo.
