Lets say he had the surgery last week. Call it the 17th. 12 weeks from there is August 9. 14 weeks is August 23. So you would probably guess he misses the first two preseason games. Maybe the 3rd depending on how much full go work he gets by then.

A setback but he should still be able to do enough to catch up and contribute. But in the interim guys like Young and Lawler get more work.
