I Iike Gurley. He's a great back. He;s edging out Jackson for 3rd best back of my own "following the Rams" era, and I like Jackson.
But, 9 other teams had similar or better rushing game production last year, measured by yards per carry. Rams were tied for 7th with 4 other teams at 4.3 per carry.
Of those 9 other teams, only 1 also had a high-picked star at RB (Dallas). The Eagles, who were 4th in YPC, did not even have a thousand yard back. With them it was RB by committee.
So you can run the ball without a Gurley.
