IF the Rams set a # and won't budge then they are not negotiating and are mucking around with one of the best players to ever wear horns.
IF Donald is asking for "the moon" then he's being crazy because no player gets "the moon" and they all know more or less what the market is any given year, and contracts, especially 2nd contracts, just do not deviate that much from the annual range.
So I don't think it;s either one.
As for the offered him a lot rumor, again, we have no idea what that means, if anything, without hearing the figure.
Plus Demoff has said it's not the amount it's the structure. Does that rumor mean anything? Well it's out there as a rumor and like the other rumor, which one tends to stick in our speculating brains probably has more to do with the kinds of the assumptions and preconceptions we each have than it does with anything real.
