Two things prohibited the Rams from winning the game. One was, Nolan Cromwell had intercepted a ball from Terry Bradshaw, and there was nothing but air in front of him. He just couldn’t hang onto the ball. And then Ferragamo had moved the Rams into Pittsburgh territory late in the game, and he was intercepted by Jack Lambert. Billy Waddy was open in the end zone waving his arms, and Ferragamo didn’t see him.”
