The issue is that Demoff wanted the blue/white without doing and research into what LA wanted. It was a unilateral decision made by Demoff. That contributed the mess we’ve got now.
Now Demoff wants to blame the NFL for his mistakes.
Ease up max...
Maybe you are 100% correct my Rams brother but why fuss and relish over spilled milk because Demoff had a marketing plan that blew up in his face?
Demoff's job is to make money for Kroenke and to negotiate contracts for Rams players. Has he been perfect with contracts and the uniform di·lem·ma?
No he hasn't but you haven't been in the meetings with the big boys and giving Demoff the fall guy label is more of a perception without being at all those meetings. His heart bleeds Rams and he gets too much blame without knowing all of the behind closed doors meetings.
I'm glad Demoff sits at the round table with the Rams brass. Has he screwed up the uniform process? Maybe so but to think he has all the power and to just assume he's in total control is not fact regardless of his title.
I could be wrong and you are probably more involved in this process than I am but I don't think he is all the blame even if he's the highest ranking officer.
If Demoff gets this correct and the new unis look sharp, who cares that we had to wait another 2 years or so to get the new uniforms done. There were several round table discussions before and after they moved to LA and the uniform change was agreed on by more than just Demoff in those discussions.
I'm not smacking you for your frustration max just saying that the uniform epidemic is overblown. I didn't care last year what the colors were when they were winning. As long as they had the horns on the helmet, they were the Los Angeles Rams and it was awesome to see them be competitive and win games again.
