I'm not sure I understand...it's "Perceived Value" right?

whether defined by draft position or a players contract....it's based on a perception of future success.
TA was an 11m/yr player based on his contract...and a 1st round player...so his value is that of a 1st rounder and an 11m/yr player. Period.

But that's NOT the case...cuz he never played to those heights in draft position nor contract. So, based on a player's performance he CAN beat or lose to his draft position or contract and thus be better or worse than his perceived performance. Right?
