......I had several NFL fans over for a BBQ. Each and every one loved, appreciated, & were inspired by this young man. Would this have been a good direction during the 1st 10 picks? I don't think so. What about early on day 2? Probably not, but whose to say? On day 3 when the picks are whizzing by, and analysts/"experts" can hardly keep up with each of the players picked anyways? Yeah, it was perfectly fine by me.
Griffins story is both inspiring and unique in the NFL. Me & all of my guests were happy to watch it. Not a single person said "enough already". To a man...., we all wished him the best.
