Bell is 20 times the player Watkins is at this point (not picking on Watkins, just using him as an example) yet they balk at paying him because of his position?
RB's are easy to find, great ones aren't !!!
Gurley was the centerpiece of our incredible turnaround on offense last year and is much more then just a "running back" I guarantee you they are working on a way right now to keep him around for his entire career.
I, too, am a huge Gurley fan, R2K. Currently, the Ram O runs through him (pun intended).
However...
We are gonna be knee deep in elite type UFA’s when his turn comes and I just don’t think that they can keep everybody.
So, hard decisions will have to be made. I fear that Gurley (and his position) might be an odd man out sorta thing. I don’t like it, either, but the team greater good might require it. Just sayin’.
