I really think that there is some good - Ebukam / Kupp, JJIII style prospects that may take a year or 2 to come to fruition....
that can be had as they slip into the top half of the 4th round - where we'd get to take advantage of 3 of our 4th rounders that are in the high in the 4th.
I'm not sure trading
that away - UNLESS, a talent drops that forces us to do so....would be better than the shotgun approach.
I'd keep ALL our 3rd & 3 - 4th rounders and draft them up!!
I'd play/trade away with the 6ths or draft for depth at that point on prospects with upside. The FanSpeak draft game allows for serious "Draft war-gaming" and I'm still getting decent players with chances to develop - even staying put and drafting using ALL the 6th round picks we have!!!
There's gonna be good depth for the teams that know what they need. Right now, I see our team zeroing in on what type of player we NEED for our schemes on Defense & OL...and getting some solid prospects in the 6h...a round normally synonymous with PS players or WaiverWire bait! a good drafting team can do real damage anywhere so long as the
"choose wisely".
