Trade 2 late 4ths and a 5th next year to jump into the same area ...
Draft an edge, a sliding OT, and then draft the ILB at 4-11.
Then another edge, WR, interior linemen, and a safety in the 6th.
You might ask "Why WR?" ... I just have too many developmental targets I like more than any other position.
Isn’t the smart play for acquiring a LOT just to take one in the ‘19 draft? It’s reportedly a bumper crop.
Perhaps “make do” for a Whit backup this year and use picks at both Edge and ILB with our 3rd and early 4th? In either order, btw.
Then look for interior OL and other position gems with our remaining picks?
