this is true...and from my own experience, not even comparable.....

A QB's worst nightmare is a rusher coming between the A-Gap....it's murderous to try and step and throw...
cuz one CAN'T step into the throw cuz theres a charging Rhino coming at you.

An outside rush can simply step up and they go away for a another second...
but charging DTs rarely miss so close and if you DO get a throw off they are gonna bruise yer ribs in a big way!!

If those DTs - somehow - miss the QB on that initial rush...it usually throws all the play WR timing off
and/or forces the QB into the EDGE gutters where you get taken down by the DE or LB anyway.

It's just the most helpless feeling to have an inside DT rush...very disconcerting!!
