I'm really surprised by much of the reaction/perception of the board. I followed him at Oregon State and am very familiar with him. I get that he's smaller than some would like, but that doesn't automatically mean he is a one trick pony. When he dropped a 4.3 at the combine it surprised a lot of people. He was clearly fast - but throughout college his success was attributed equally or more to his work ethic, determination, etc. than to any freakish athletic ability. He ran jet sweeps, short crossing routes, screens - you name it. He won more often than not on contested balls despite his lack of height. He would always try to line up across from the best CB on the field from the day he set foot on campus.
So sure, there will always be doubts, it's just surprising to me to see words like "soft" and "smurf" thrown around and an implication that he's a one trick pony.
