I once accepted Leonard Little as a Ram, despite his actions. There's nothing in the history of these 3 that gives me pause on a personal level.
Little was allowed by other Rams to drive away drunk from a party and of course he made that bad choice himself too.
That does not represent a character issue having to do with ongoing behavior. So it was not "actions" plural with him.
It was a one-time, and costly, terrible lapse of judgment. One that can happen to any of us if we don't take care of drinking and driving the right way.
If that had not happened no one would have ever been given any cause to doubt Little's professionalism on the field as a player. That's very minor compared to what happened that day. But still, since the context is a discussion of professional v. non-professional actions as a football player, worth noting.
Suh has regularly done those kinds of things on the field, though there are indications he's over that (in his own different way, same with Incognito).

Little was arrested twice for DUI, and the second offence took place after the fatal crash.

The 2nd was a wrongful arrest and that was proven decisively in a court of law. In other words, there was no actual proof Little was drinking in the 2nd arrest and the arresting officer was basically completely discredited.
So the allegation that he was arrested twice is not really true. The 2nd case, he was exonerated.
This was watched closely by ST.L reporters who were at the trial and emailed about it as it was occurring.

Little admitted to drinking before driving, no matter his alcohol level or police procedure, after he was convicted of involuntary manslaughter. I'm unsure what the argument is. At best, he demonstrated an extraordinary lack of judgment. Those were the actions I was referring to. What are you trying to convince me of?
I don't buy any of that. I think he was completely exonerated on the accusation of
driving drunk. That's the only relevant thing to me. The rest is hyperbole and too easy hyperbolic judgments from the sidelines.
I am not trying to "convince you" of anything. Just as you are not trying to "convince me of" anything. . I am just putting down what I believe is the more accurate account of Little's actions.
And of course, again, Little was a professional on the field. Suh hasn't been. In one case a man had to atone for a terrible one-time mistake. We all judge that differently.
I was forgiving of Little because I saw him as having made a terrible one-time "there but for the grace of god" mistake off the field. If I really did think he had driven drunk again, I would not have been forgiving. As a fan, him being an important Rams starter only goes so far in my book.

Leonard Little confessed to consuming alcohol before getting behind the wheel prior to the second DUI charge. He admitted it. That was the issue for me.
