Yeah, it’s exciting to think of that potential DL, but there are questions that need to be asked.
Where is the money for Suh gonna come from, really? This is a critical question in the real world of today’s cap.
Does anybody seriously believe that Suh would be willing to work for half of his potential salary worth? Me neither. And that’s what he would be required to do. Does he want a ring THAT badly?
What if Suh is just using the Rams visit to inflate the offers from the other teams that have visited with him? We’re merely pawns in his negotiating strategy?
This draft is reportedly loaded with NT, OLB, and ILB prospects that would fit nicely into Wade’s scheme. Why not just get the younger and less expensive players and let them grow with the existing studs?
For the record, I will say that Wade could easily shuffle this potential trio into an incredible unit by simply moving Brockers back inside. Might not be Brockers best position, but it would create the best unit. Opposing OC’s would go nuts trying to deal with such a DL.
But I’ll believe a Suh Rams signing when I see it.
