Everyone was overlooking the Broncos' lack of QB in the media and assuming they'd be a deep playoff team. Now that Elway overpaid for Keenum, there's a similar perception building. But it's all BS.
That roster has holes all over the joint. The coaching staff isn't up to snuff either IMO. Elway is in the midst of destroying the "genius GM" label he had with a strong coaching staff under him.
So yeah, moving up to get a QB even if it takes the farm would be a good thing for him to do right now. Then clean house with the staff and get it fixed right from there, with talent at least in-house at QB. But I don't think he's quite done eating his plate of humble pie.
