you play some 1-tech. Like Brockers and Kangford when Rams did that. When they switched to a flop front in 2014 Brockers was the dedicated nose and Donald was the 3-tech,
With Colts, I didn't see all the games, but he was a 3-tech with them, #99 was their nose tackle.
The only snaps at nose tackle (1-tech) would have been in NY when they were in over- and under-shifts. So if that is Hankins' favorite position he sure did play it much, based on how many snaps teams are in nickel, maybe he was at nose 20% of the time in NY. In Indy, little if any snaps at NT
