When trading up in the first round, draft capitol loss is overrated and worth the failure if it's for a consensus franchise rookie quarterback.
If they fail with this investment, then they need to get back on the horse and do it again the next the same opportunity presents itself until they get their franchise quarterback.
If you are an NFL team without a franchise QB in the 2018 era, you make this trade 8 days a week with all risks involved unless the QB class is grossly overrated. This class seems to be as good or better than the last 3 years.
The J E T S took the correct risk and are going all in. Good for them and even with the possible draft capitol losses, I salute them for not sitting on their hands at staying at the #6 slot.
