Kupp 62 catches 869 yards 5 drops 94 targets
Amendola 61 catches 659 yards 4 drops 86 targets
I am not a big guy on the target stat. I feel that if you get open, you get the targets. I know all the videos on Watkins being open all the time and the ball not being thrown to him so I get there may be something there, but typically a lack of targets = Not getting open.
The bottom line is Kupp is a much better receiver than Amendola - Not really close and Amendola plays in a more favorable situation. Kupp, I am fairly certain, could be putting up 1000 yard seasons with Brady as his QB and Amendola's best season ever is:
689 yards with the Rams back in 2010.
He has never broken 700 yards with Tom Brady as his QB.
