never offered.
Preliminary conversations were held between the Seahawks front office and one of his representatives. Seahawks had a number they would sign him for that was far below the 10 million he lost when he opted out. He wanted more so they turned it down. These things happen all the time. But you are correct if you are thinking no written offer was presented. You know this sort of thing happens all the time otherwise a lot of time would be wasted. My source is my cousin who works in the Seahawks front office.
