If ANY team loses their starting QB and starting RB...they just might not "SMELL 8-8". Not sure what your point is RFIP. Is it that the Cards had better backups or better coaching than the Rams or both?

My point is, if your team goes through all they went through and STILLNESS finishes 8-8 plus you still have prime, elite players on your roster you don't scrap it all and start a rebuild, especially with a new coach.

#fact" is what confused me. I read that as meaning the Rams couldn't possibly have done as good as the Cards if they lost Goff and Gurley.

What "prime, elite players" other than an aging Fitzgerald are you referring to? Just like Seatlle, I think the rebuild is the way to go.
