they are a place to exchange ideas and debates. Not a place that has teachers or pupils. Just a range of people who very little to people who may know a little more to people who know more than that to people who may know a lot.
I don't think any of us know a lot, some of us know a little but some know almost nothing.
A lot of times it's the know-nothings who post an idea and then get offended when someone who knows a little bit shows the ideas are not supported by anything. But rather than try and learn they just pull a "let's agree to disagree".
