Yes Quinn was better last year...but only in his final 4-5 games, when he came out of whatever was holding him back for 10 games prior to that.

Quinn: injured and recovering for a while & in fact didn't even practice in the summer of 2017
Quinn: came out of it and significantly picked up his game in his last 4-5 starts
WHOLE OF QUINN's STORY: was down for a while and came out of it and promises to be good still this year.
So that's the entire story.
Without any parts left out.
We'll see if Ekubam performs at the level Quinn re-acquired when he got his game back. It means around 4 pressures a game and virtually a sack per start.
I hope he does.
