I watched this battle real-time it was a physical match and Sammy ate Revis up for 11 catches for and 136 yards.

This is what the Rams will miss that physical dog that can challenge top tier corners.

Physical, fights for balls doesn't describe Sammy at all? Pfffftt

And Sammy was just a hungry young 2nd year buck.

In Revis’ prime it would have been a much different story.

Revis was always about technique not athleticism.

His game was always leverage, playing the angles and getting his hands on you.

That was his game then and there

When you lose a step you lose a step. Whether it’s psychical or mental or both. He wasn’t playing well before that game and I knew his trainer, as well as people in the Jets org. Revis himself would tell you the same thing.
