I'm not particularly a Talib fan, but I'm biting my tongue for the very reasons you stated: he is a mean, loose cannon that comes to play/win. This is football.....you can't have all choir boys.....you need some mean dudes that HATE losing......I didn't see that in Watkins. He looked "young" to me in terms of maturity, etc. Just didn't see the fire.
This team absolutely needs some 'dogs'......some mean guys ....I'm hoping they get a mean OL in this draft. Someone like Turley was or Ryan Tucker. Mean.
Honestly, why would anyone want Watkins over a Danny Amendola at this point? Potential? We all know how that often ends....
